Hands Helping Hearts: FREE CPR Training for Businesses and the Community
Hands-Only CPR

Stop by a convenient location to receive fast, free training in Hands-Only CPR, March through June. Learn how your business or nonprofit can get involved to make Santa Barbara a safer place for all. Local agencies, including the County of Santa Barbara Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Agency, Santa Barbara City Fire Department, and American Medical Response (AMR) have joined forces to provide free training for downtown businesses and members of the community. By increasing the number of adults trained in “hands only” CPR in our community, we can increase the survival rate of cardiac victims. All participating businesses are challenged to sign up to train 80% of their employees between now and June at a future training session.
