Free Computer Classes Offered May 20, 2008

Two computer classes are being offered at Pendleton Community Public Library, 595 East Water Street, in Pendleton. The classes are free and open to the public. Class size is limited and will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Registration is required. Call the library at (765) 778-7527 to register.

SELLING ON EBAY is designed to show the typical user the basics of selling an item through the eBay website. Topics include registering a seller’s account and registering with PayPal, listing a typical item, understanding the costs and extra features that you are able to place in an auction listing. This class will be offered on Tuesday, May 20th at 6:00 p.m.

INTERMEDIATE WORD 2003 will provide an overview of more advanced functions of Microsoft Word and is meant for a user with intermediate experience or who has attended the Beginning Word course. The course will cover topics such as using mail merge, adding footnotes, building a table of contents, etc. This class will be offered on Tuesday, May 27th at 6:00 p.m.
