Free Coffee Tasting February 26, 2008

Come join us for a fun-filled, adventurous and educational experience where our show's host, Jose Ramos, has invited guest speakers Bruce Jacobs and Karl Engvold to fill your evening with experiences of coffee you will love. We will be sampling high quality and exotic coffees from around the world. The process of roasting coffee will be demonstrated, where Karl will roast a special house blend for us in a convenient home roaster. Bruce will bring some nifty coffee tools to our seminar demonstrating the types of coffee grinders out in the market and provide us with a scientific approach to comparing the use of different water whence making your coffee (a Britta filter versus highly purified distilled water).

In the end, cupping of the most expensive coffee found today, Kopi Luwak, will be done along with the delicious results of Karl's special house blend roast created from the demonstrated roasting process.

So, bring your friends, bring your notebooks (computer or paper) and bring your tastebuds. It will be quite an adventurous event and a lovely follow-up to the gourmet meal served by Chef Celeste.
