Princeton Center for Yoga & Health (PCYH) opens its new season with an even wider range of classes and workshops for people of all ages and abilities to support people in getting in shape for summer. From Sunday, May 6, through Saturday, May 12, first-time visitors may attend and choose from among over 40 classes for free. Returning students may sample classes for a drop-in rate of $15 for most classes (Hot Yoga /$18), or take a free class if they bring a friend new to the Center. Also free, on Saturday, May 5, there is a free Move Your Body Yoga Dance Improv class, on Sunday, May 6, Introduction to Yoga Teacher Training and Introduction to Insight Meditation on Saturday, May 12.
PCYH offers over 40 classes in a variety of yoga styles, ranging from Gentle Yoga and Yoga for Rejuvenation (gentle) to Power and Vinyasa Yoga (strength-building) to Hot Yoga (vigorous and hot!). Specialty classes include Yoga for Stress Reduction, Pre- and Post-Natal Yoga, Parent/Toddler Yoga, Yoga for Kids, Belly Dance, Pilates, Dance Improv, and Meditation. All classes take place in spacious, light-filled studios with a forest view and ample parking.
The Center offers a variety of yoga, meditation and holistic lifestyle classes and workshops, monthly concerts, kirtan, drumming circles, and trainings. The Center also provides the community with access to various therapeutic and bodywork practitioners, such as therapeutic massage and chiropractic care, as well as a forum to support those practitioners in their work.
