Free Admissions Open House at Penn State Behrend February 19, 2011

Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, will host a free Admissions Open House for prospective students on Saturday, Feb. 19.

The Open House begins at 10 a.m. High school students and their families can meet with faculty from the Sam and Irene Black School of Business, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Science, School of Engineering, and nursing program to learn more about Penn State Behrend’s 34 bachelor’s and six associate degrees.

Presentations will be offered on applying for admission, financial aid, academics, student services, athletics, choosing a major and the college’s Honors program. Walking tours of campus, lab demonstrations and cash lunches in Bruno’s Café or Dobbins Hall also will be available. The program concludes at 1 p.m.
