Frank Maresca: Now Is Then April 30, 2008

This exhibition features over 200 snapshots from a collection assembled by Frank Maresca, one of the country's leading experts on vernacular art and images. Seen individually, the photographs from the Maresca collection may appear funny, mysterious, anecdotal, tender or frightening. Together, they form an extraordinary document of American life in the first half of the 20th century.
