FOUR GREAT SINGERS & ONE HOT BAND April 20, 2009

Lucia/Kosut Productions is a collaboration of 2 Bay Area vocal artists with a vision towards presenting quality entertainment at affordable prices to new audiences at a time when finances are tight and so many venues in the Bay Area are closing.

With that in mind, our first venture is on April 20 at Yoshi's SF where we will be presenting 4 Bay Area vocalists backed by terrific musicians, all at a modest cover of $10.

The FOUR GREAT SINGERS - the producers (of course) Elaine Lucia and Linda Kosut, plus "The Queen of Boogie Woogie" Wendy DeWitt, and jazz vocal virtuoso Kenny Washington.

ONE HOT BAND - Bay Area musicians Max Perkoff (piano/trombone), Jonathan Alford (piano), Tom Shader (bass) and Alan Hall (drums).

With the success of this one event, we expect to make this a monthly venture with new performers each time. The story of collaboration is an old one; but one that works during this time, for sure.
