Meet the Panel
Clint! Runge is the Cofounder and Creative Director of Archrival, a distinguished youth marketing agency that connects brands with young consumers. Clint! kicks the tires and lights the fires for clients such as Red Bull, State Farm, Shaun White, Pabst Brewing Company, Facebook, Chipotle, ESPN a host of athlete and entertainment brands. A pop-culture connoisseur, his work blends trends with tactics to create playful experiences and meaningful relationships between brand and consumer.
Paul Elledge is an internationally recognized photographer and filmmaker whose clients include major advertising agencies, record companies and design firms. Paul’s individual vision and uncompromising drive to create compelling images has resulted in his work appearing worldwide in galleries, museums, advertising campaigns and various publications. He has photographed numerous celebrities such as AC/DC, Tiger Woods, Billy Corgan, Studs Terkel, Jennifer Hudson, Jeff Daniels, Ministry, Common, Willie Nelson and Oprah Winfrey.
Sam Maclay is the creative director and a founding partner of 3 Advertising in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His work has earned One Show pencil and merit awards and recognition from Communication Arts, Archive, Print, National Addys, HOW Magazine and SHOOT Magazine. Sam is easily startled. He runs around his backhand while playing tennis. He cannot dance, play golf or juggle.
Blake Bäkken is a Design Director at Venables Bell & Partners, an independent San Francisco advertising agency whose intentions are good. Bäkken's clients have included Audi, Intel, HBO, Barclays, Conoco, 76, PG&E, 24 Hour Fitness, Fresca, Robert Mondavi Winery and Montana Meth Project. He brings smart, considered, effective design guided by solid strategic thinking.
