The Foundation Fighting Blindness (FFB) is pounding the pavement nationwide to increase awareness and research dollars through VisionWalk, FFB’s signature fundraising event. VisionWalk will raise money to support cutting-edge research to find the preventions, treatments and cures for retinal degenerative diseases. Since its inception, FFB has raised over $350 million for retinal disease research, more than any other non-governmental agency. FFB invests in cutting-edge research in promising areas such as genetics, gene therapy, retinal cell transplantation, artificial retinal implants and pharmaceutical and nutritional therapies.
