Found Animals Foundation to Host Spectacular “Save a Stray for the Holidays” Adoption Event at 14 Los Angeles Animal Care Centers December 19, 2009

Found Animals Foundation (www.foundanimals.org) will host their second annual “Save A Stray For The Holidays” adoption event on Saturday, December 19th, 2009 from 9am-2pm. The unique and unparalleled Los Angeles-wide event will unfold simultaneously at 14 City and County animal care center locations; this will mark the first time such a feat has been accomplished. Each location will reduce adoption fees, including microchip and spay/neuter surgery fees, for the special program. Hundreds of animals will be available and trained “matchmakers” will be on hand to help visitors find the perfect pet.

Found Animals will include special gifts for all new adoptees. Anyone who adopts a pet at the event will receive the amazing professional services of the Found Animals staff and volunteers. The organization also will provide crucial materials, such as new pet owner manuals, to make the transition to new surroundings more comfortable for both the pets and their new parents.
