Curated by art critic Maurizio Scudiero, this exhibit celebrates the work of the Italian futurist designer Fortunato Depero (1892 - 1960) perhaps best known for his iconic 1932 Campari Soda bottle.
The exhibit opening is the kickoff event for Metal + Machine + Manifesto = Futurism’s First 100 Years - a city-wide project coorganized by Performa and SFMOMA with the Italian Cultural Institute.
