Two of the brightest stars of classical music's youth movement light the Embassy Theatre stage in a concert of colorful and romantic masterworks. The Philharmonic welcomes Bulgarian-born Maestro Danail Rachev and internationally respected pianist, Alon Goldstein. To begin, the Philharmonic musicians are featured in Maurice Ravel's shimmering depiction of the tales from Mother Goose, then Goldstein takes the spotlight in Bartok's Third Piano Concerto. The concert concludes with Schumann's soaring 'Rhenish' symphony.
