Help us take advantage of Feet in the Street Day when the roads of historic Fort Dupont Park will be closed to vehicular traffic. This tree walk will take us through the wooded parkland, where we will see the fall colors that grace our area native forests. In addition to highlighting specimen trees and their distinctive characteristics, tree identification methods will be emphasized. Come explore one of DC’s hidden treasures!

The walk will cover a moderate distance on slopes and over uneven terrain. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be offered for ISA certified arborists.

When: Saturday, October 15
Where: Meet in front of the Fort Dupont Park Activity Center, Fort Dupont Dr. SE
Time: 10:00AM – NOON

Barring severe weather, the walk will take place rain or shine.
