Spend the evening examining Leonardo da Vinci on August 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Frazier History Museum. Dr. Matthew Landrus, of the History of Art and Visual Culture Department at the Rhode Island School of Design, investigates the ways in which Leonardo's skills as artist and engineer assisted with the forms and functions of his designs, leading to his reputation as a “genius.” See Leonardo's work in a new light as you discover the original purposes of his iconic projects, such as the "Last Supper,” “Giant Crossbow” and more.
Admission is only $5, and includes access to “Da Vinci- The Genius” and light refreshments. A book signing by Dr. Landrus will follow the lecture. For more information, go to www. FrazierMuseum.org, or call (502) 753-5663.
