Often, a good photograph maintains a balance between content (what to photograph) and form (how to photograph). In this two weekend workshop, participants will understand and create photographs in light of the fine balance between form and content.
Through examples of work, discussions, and critique of students work, participants will gain an understanding of the formalistic elements of photographs and apply it to the creative process while photographing in the field, and editing in the studio. Based on current interest and projects, students will work on assignments. During this time, students will make photographs with a particular emphasis on the balance between form and content. The greater portion of the classes will be spent critiquing students work from the assignment.
This workshop is for photographers who have been photographing and looking for evaluation and critique of their work in a structured fashion.
