Join the International Association of Nanotechnology and the Clean Tech Institute on Thursday, August 7, for a discussion focusing on the strategic alliances and joint ventures that exist between the nanotech and clean tech industries.
What are some of the advantages to these business relationships? What are the properties of these nanotech/clean tech alliances? Where can these joint ventures be found? These are just some of the issues that will be addressed during the weekly Nano Lunch.
Our guest speaker will be Rachael Simonoff Wexler, a partner with Los Angeles-based Goodwin Proctor LLP, one of the biggest clean tech and nanotech practices in the country. Ms. Wexler is recognized as one of Southern California’s leading advisors to clients in the diverse fields of nanotechnology, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, e-commerce, media and publishing, and software development.
She also serves as the associate editor of the Journal of Nanotechnology Law & Business, and is the author of the Smart Business-published article, “The Role of Nanotechnology in Today’s Business Market.”
IANANO will also present a brief overview of its clean tech/nanotech training programs and resources. Cost is $10/non-members; free to members. The Nano Lunch will take place from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., and will be held at IANANO headquarters, 1290 Parkmoor Ave., San Jose, CA 95126. A light lunch will be served and networking will take place before and after the presentation.
