The Forest Park Conservancy (formerly Friends of Forest Park) is launching a new Portland tradition: Forest Park Day of Stewardship. This semi-annual event will celebrate Forest Park by gathering friends, community members and business partners to engage in a day of volunteer stewardship.

There will be three volunteer work sites in Forest Park.

Volunteer efforts will focus on the removal of invasive species and planting of native trees and shrubs.
