Ford Motor Company and the Bay Area Green Drive Expo October 9, 2010

Ford Motor Company will be speaking at the Green Drive Expo, the Bay Area’s first consumer eco-car event, featuring test drives, expert panels and technology presentations, from 12:45pm to 1:15pm on October 9.

Come hear Gil Portalatin, Ford Hybrid Systems Applications Manager, speak on Ford's Electrification Strategy. Gil will address the part electrified vehicles will play in our transportation future. Ford believes electrification of vehicles will be one part of a broader solution to deliver better fuel economy and lower greenhouse gas emissions in the coming years. Hear about Ford's electrification strategy to deliver the next generation of hybrids, plug-in hybrids and pure battery electrics to the market.

About the Event
This hands-on event will showcase hybrid, electric, ethanol, biodiesel, natural gas, hydrogen and other vehicles. Attendees will learn where, when and how they can expect to purchase the hottest eco-friendly vehicles, the latest on consumer incentives for clean cars, and updates on alternative fuel technologies. Speakers will also address pressing climate legislation and the future of green vehicles.
