Foraged Foods: Breads & Spreads at Road Less Traveled Store, Santa Ana October 30, 2010

Presented by the Road Less Traveled Store and Naturalist For You. It took an entire village to forage, process, and prepare the hearty meals that sustained generations of tribal families for thousands of years. With your help, we will venture back in time to process acorns gathered from local oak woodlands. We will prepare nutritious breads and sweet spreads from foraged grains and fruits. It will be a communal celebration of taste and tradition! This is a foraging experience beyond expectations-covered by KCRW's Good Food. Identification/field guide and recipes will be included.
