Go Fly-Fishing in style in the beautiful White Mountains!
Tie some flies, cast a line and enjoy the beauty and the luxury of Hidden Meadow Ranch. There’s an abundance of fish thanks to the remoteness of our lodge in the White Mountains and there are two events in June that will entertain fishermen of all stripes from expert anglers to eager novices.
The He-Vent is June 10-16 and it definitely puts the ‘dude’ in dude ranch. Bring your father, son or just a group of guys. There’s grilling lessons with the chef, woodworking and leatherworking, in addition to lessons on fly casting and fly tying. After you catch some fish, try your hand at some roping, team penning, mend some fences and toss some hay. The He-Vent culminates on Father’s Day with a BBQ at the Trout Pond, a fishing derby, and special brews! Make those reservations now before this event is sold out. Go online at www.hiddenmeadow.com or call (928) 333-1000.
Orvis Week is June 23-28 and is an opportunity to master the craft of fly-fishing in a one-of-a-kind setting. Spend several days with HMR’s FFF certified Fly Fishing Director and his team for a series of clinics and classes starting with Introduction to Fly Fishing, progressing to the Trout Pond, and then to the select White Mountain fisheries to test your skills. And while we can’t offer you a degree in fishing you will receive a certificate that shows that you’ve mastered each level. The instruction includes:
Casting lessons
Fly fishing instruction
Fly tying
There is something for everyone no matter how much time you can get away.
You can arrive on Sunday 6/23 or Wednesday 6/26 for three nights minimum on the Rancher’s Package to enjoy this experience. We’ll add on the full day off-site fishing adventure for an additional $150.00 per person (about half the usual price).
With the six-night package starting on Sunday 6/23, you get two full days of off-site guided fly fishing, the second day on one of our beautiful alpine lakes using float tubes.
Hidden Meadow Ranch is the only Orvis endorsed lodge in all of Arizona, Nevada, and Southern California. Orvis concluded the Ranch exhibits hospitality, professionalism and a conscious effort to conserve the fishery.
Tim Bolinger, owner of Hidden Meadow Ranch said, “Experts and novices are in for some of the best fishing in the southwest and they can do it in the luxury setting of Hidden Meadow Ranch. No place else offers first-rate fishing and first-rate accommodations in a setting such as this.”
Space is limited so make those reservations now at www.hiddenmeadow.com or call (928) 333-1000.
