Looking for a way to be naughty AND nice this Valentine’s Day? Join Chicago's French Pastry School at For The Love of Chocolate, Saturday, February 10th at Chicago’s historic South Shore Cultural Center.
Chocolate is the star during this “sweet” night of entertainment, all to help underserved Chicago students prepare for culinary careers. You won’t want to miss:
*A fashion show with unique chocolate bridal gowns and accessories from local designers
*Fiery performances and instruction from the country’s top salsa dancers, with the kickoff of the Chicago Salsa Congress
*Hundreds of chocolate creations from the country's best pastry chefs
*The mysterious and sultry Cocoa Sutra room, featuring a private bar, signature libations and DJ
*And, a live concert from Chicago’s own Lil’ Ed and the Blues Imperials!
Proceeds will benefit the Chicago chapter of the Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP), a national organization that prepares underserved public high school students for college and careers in the hospitality industry.
Tickets are $95, available in advance at www.fortheloveofchocolate.org, until February 7, 2007. After that, tickets will be available at the door for $125. Valet parking will be available.
