For the Love of Art Valentine's Exhibit & Auction January 25, 2008

Third Annual “For the Love of Art” show and silent auction. From January 11 through 25, the gallery will feature Valentine-themed art created by invited artists and friends of the Arts Alliance.

The silent auction runs for the duration of the exhibit, with proceeds benefiting the Arts Alliance. Items, which represent a wide variety of art forms including jewelry, paintings, weavings, mixed media, sculpture, etc., are valued at no more than $214.08 (2/14/08). The public is invited to place bids during the exhibit’s two-week run and to attend the closing reception on Friday, January 25, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Final bids will be taken at 7:15 p.m. and successful bidders can claim their art that evening.

The Arts Alliance Gallery is located in The Courtyard Shopping Center at 1100 San Mateo NE, at the corner of Lomas and San Mateo. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, plus the evening of the reception.
