"For the Inquisitive Mind ..." exhibit at Toy Museum!
The Kruger Street Toy & Train Museum in Wheeling, West Virginia will be hosting the temporary exhibit "For the Inquisitive Mind...". The exhibit, which runs from now through December 31, 2008 at the museum, features many of the classic educational toys we all remember from the past!
These were the toys that were not only fun, they taught us as well!
We learned everything from anatomy to woodworking, from electronics to art, all while having fun, and often while not even knowing we were learning! From chemistry sets to microscopes, construction toys to miniature workshops, these playthings all left a lasting impression, often leading us towards our adult careers and hobbies!
The Kruger Street Toy & Train Museum is currently on its fall hours, and is open 7 days a week, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with the final tour starting at 4 PM each day. They will have these hours now through the end of the year.
