For Pete's Sake, Sing! May 3, 2009

Pete Seeger is THE GUY when it comes to American folk music. His songs include: “Turn, Turn, Turn!”, “If I Had a Hammer,” and “Where Have All the Flowers Gone?” among others. He also joined Bruce Springsteen in singing “This Land is Your Land” at Obama’s inauguration. Ol’ Pete is turning 90 on Sunday, so cities throughout the country (including RVA, YAY!) are getting together to pay tribute to him. Funds will benefit Musicians in Need.
