For Alec: A Fashion Benefit for Alexander Martinez February 28, 2009

Join us for an evening of fashion and charity featuring fabulous local designers, music, and a fundraiser drawing and auction for some generously donated prizes.

All proceeds go directly to the Martinez family to help ease the high cost of medical treatment and related expenses.

Two-year-old Alexander 'Alec' Martinez was diagnosed with cancer in November 2008. Alec braved several surgeries for a grade III Ependymoma brain tumor late last year and will experience an equally difficult recovery in 2009. With the hope and support of family and friends, Alec will continue his long road to recovery.
