Footsteps of Nikitin - a film in English to be screened and discussed at Town hall. This film is on Afanysi Nikitin, a trader by profession, from Tver, North of Moscow, who came to India in search of better prospects in 1471. He was one of the earliest Europeans in India, 30 years before Vasco da Gama. His diary is invaluable source to study the society of the time, particularly the Bahmani Kingdom.
