“FOOTLOOSE” explodes on the stage at the Canyon Theatre Guild in Old Town Newhall every weekend from May 28 through June 25. Based on the dynamic movie musical, this stage version bursts into life with exhilarating results. A big city teen moves into a small farming town to find there is a ban on dancing instituted by the local preacher.
To the rockin' rhythm of its Oscar and Tony-nominated top 40 score and augmented with dynamic new songs for the stage musical, FOOTLOOSE celebrates the wisdom of listening to young people, and guiding them with a warm heart and an open mind.
Performances at 8:00 PM May 28, June 4, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25, and at 2:00 PM May 29, June 5, 12, 18, 19, and 25. Tickets are $12-$15 for Juniors and Seniors and $15-$17 for Adults. For reservations, call 661-799-2702. The CTG is located at 24242 Main Street, Newhall.
