Food For Fines November 25, 2012

The library is supporting Gum Drops, a local organization that helps local at-risk children by providing easy to prepare food.

Anyone with outstanding library overdue fines may bring a donation of new/unopened Ramen noodle cups, Easy Mac cups, granola/cereal bars, tuna or chicken salad kits, single serving cereal boxes, canned soup or canned spaghetti/ravioli to have the overdue fines forgiven. Donations are also welcome from all community members and library visitors. Please drop off items during regular library hours, Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Fines will be forgiven in the following manner:
One donated item = $1 in fines, Two donated items = $2 in fines, Three donated items = $3 in fines, Four donated items = $4 in fines, Five donated items = $5 in fines, Six donated items = $10 in fines, Seven donated items = $15 in fines. Donations are not valid for lost or damaged items.
