MoAD is proud to present a Sunday series of interactive storytelling, performance and crafts for children and their families with Ms. Luisah Teish, an initiated elder in the Ifa/Orisha tradition of the West African Diaspora. She is a reknowned storyteller and author, and the leader of Ile Orunmila Oshun, a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic spiritual temple and cultural/educational institution in Oakland. This program will include stories and activities inspired by the current exhibition, Art/Object: Re-Contextualizing African Art.
Free with Museum Admission.
