Pablo Mayor's Folklore Urbano is leading the Nueva Colombia movement, a modern take on Colombian folkloric music. Folklore Urbano pairs the sophisticated, polished singer Sofia Rei Koutsovitis with the warmth and swing of the band's original vocalist Ronald Polo, in front of a 12-piece ensemble incorporating the elegance and virtuosity of a driving jazz horn and rhythm section with a blazing group of traditional Colombian percussionists. Folklore Urbano's stage show features dancing and music of the highest caliber.
