Folk Festival Mural Project October 14, 2011

Come out and attend The Richmond Folk Festival October 14th-16th. The Folk Festival draws more than 190,000 people to downtown Richmond, making it one of Virginia’s largest events. While you are there, make a visit to The Community Foundation booth, (next to their stage). Here, you can join HandsOn Greater Richmond and Art on Wheels to engage in creating a community art project and learn more about The Community Foundation, the Partnership for Nonprofit Excellence, and HandsOn’s programs. The art piece will be revealed at different stages throughout the festival on The Community Foundation Stage. If you are interested in volunteering to help make this project happen, please visit our website to sign up! The art project will only be available for participation on Saturday, October 15th and Sunday, October 16th. The Community Foundation booth, however, will be there for the duration of the Festival.
