Inspired by the botanical photography of Imogen Cunningham on view in the museum, children and their families can work together to create a variety of art projects that utilize local flora at the next Free Family Art Day. Create leaf prints made by painting leaves and printing them on paper, sun catchers designed by arranging a collage of natural material sandwiched with wax paper, sun-sensitive flower prints, and leaf rubbings at the next Free Family Art Day Sunday, January 16 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. For the budding photographer sun-sensitive flower prints will educate them about the important role light plays in photography. Geared towards children of all ages, no art experience is required for the art activities. Healthy refreshments are provided.
