Rosalind Rowe, Central Florida Invasive Plants Coordinator, will present this talk to The Pine Lily Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society (Osceola) at their April Monthly Meeting.

The purpose of the Florida Native Plant Society is to promote the preservation, conservation, and restoration of the native plants and native plant communities of Florida. Its members are people from all walks of life who love Florida, and all are welcome. We are a growing coalition of educators, naturalists, botanists and other scientists, land managers, landscapers, and home gardeners.

The Pine Lily Chapter is an umbrella chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society covering Osceola County and is non-profit. The objectives of the chapter are to locate undisturbed native plant communities, protect those native plant species that are in danger, to encourage the restoration of native plant communities whenever possible, and to encourage the planting and retention of native plants as an energy saving, and water saving way of living.

We meet at the First United Methodist Church, 101 W. Dakin Av, Kissimmee FL 34741, at 6:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month. Program changes monthly.
