Flying Saucer Draught Emporium will host its fourth annual Fall Beer Festival in the Flying Saucer parking lot in Sundance Square on Saturday, Oct. 17 from 2 to 10 p.m.
Flying Saucer’s Fall Beer Festival will feature five beer tents, each with crafted brews chosen by Flying Saucer’s own resident beer guru, Keith Schlabs, and longtime Fort Worth Flying Saucer general manager Marc Castaldo. Featured beers will include rare special releases and a limited-edition cask-conditioned ale, including Brooklyn Chocolate Stout and Allagash Curieux in the East Coast tent and Stone 13th Anniversary Ale in the West Coast tent. Attendees also can go inside Flying Saucer to sample other special-release beers.
The Captain’s Picks tent is scheduled to feature, among others, a brew made by Captain Keith at Sierra Nevada’s recent beer camp. The brew, called Sierra Nevada Edge of Darkness, will be offered in a very limited supply.
