Flying Saucer Draught Emporium will host a pre- and post-premiere party for Beer Wars, a new film about American-brewed beer, on Thursday, April 16 at 5 p.m.
In honor of the movie’s premiere, Flying Saucer will offer special beers on tap from Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, Brooklyn Brewery and Stone Brewing Company, some of the American craft breweries featured in the film, and Flying Dog Brewery. Special brews include the Dogfish Head Palo Santo and Burton Baton, the Brooklyn Intensified Coffee Stout and Brooklyn Blast, the Stone Vintage 2007 Imperial Stout and the Flying Dog Garde Dog.
Jason Gavin, Southeast regional representative for Brooklyn; Neal Stewart, prime minister of marketing at Flying Dog; Rich Graham, vice president of sales at Flying Dog; and Scott Smith from North Carolina’s own Foothills Brewing will be on hand for the event.
Throughout the evening, Flying Saucer will be giving away shirts, hats, tickets and other items. Admission to Flying Saucer’s event is free.
Beer Wars will be shown at two one-night-only engagements in the Charlotte area Thursday, April 16 at 8 p.m. at AMC Concord Mills and Regal Stonecrest.
