Pumpkin launching and fun family activities will take center stage at this fundraiser. Representatives from NJ Hurl (www.njhurl.com) will be using their medieval war machines, the torsion catapult and trebuchet, to send pumpkin ammunition hurling across the fields. Guests can also build their own cars out of ears of corn and race them. Other activities will include pick-your-own pumpkins, pumpkin painting, pony rides, face painting, balloon animals, a petting zoo, a Guess-How-Many booth, a cake walk, and live music. Food will be available. The festival is being organized and hosted by the Young Event Planners, a volunteer, teen-run organization, for the benefit of America’s Grow-A-Row. America’s Grow-A-Row is an organization that provides produce to feed the hungry. Donations and packaged goods will be collected.
