Join Andrea Brachfeld as she makes a rare West Coast appearance. Ms. Brachfeld is a world-renowned flutist equally at home in classical, jazz, and latin music idioms with over 35 years of experience. She is a well-respected authority in the art of Cuban Flute, having played with seminal New York Charanga bands such as Tipica New York, The Benito Sextet, Charanga ‘76, Tipica Ideal, Charanga America, and Joe Quijano. Her jazz playing is equally impressive, as her recent recordings as part of Phoenix Rising music will indicate.
Joining Andrea are first-call Bay Area Latin Jazz musicians Murray Low (piano), David Belove (bass), Paul Van Wageningen (drums) and Michael Spiro (percussion).
This event is rare and is not to be missed. For listening AND dancing!
