Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia will perform in Bangalore on Sunday the 20th January 2008 at a concert in aid of The Sri Surabharathi Sanskrit and Cultural Foundation.

Event Details:
The Sri Surabharathi Sanskrit and Cultural Foundation is presenting "Sangeetha Ratnakara Award" (A National level award given to a Music Maestro) to Padma Vibhushan Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia for the year 2008.

Vidwan Vishwanatha Gopalakrishna Sastry of Rajamandry will be given the Award "Sastra Ratnakara" (A National level award given to a Sanskrit Scholar).

This Award Ceremony will be held on Sunday the 20th January 2008 at Chowdaiah Memorial Hall, Vyalikaval, Bangalore at 4.00 pm. Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia will render a music concert after the Award Ceremony.

1. "Dashavataram" Sanskrit Dance Drama by Students of Sri Surabharathi Sanskrit and Cultural Foundation at 04.00 pm to 5.15 pm
2. Ratnakara Award Presentation Ceremony at 05.15 pm to 06.15 pm

4. Music Concert by Pt.Hariprasad Chaurasia at 06.30 pm to 08.30 pm
