All dates scheduled are dependent on receipt of vaccine. Please contact branch a few days before to double check. Flu season is approaching! The American Red Cross will be administering flu shots at the following Mid-Continent Public Library branches for those who want to reduce their risk of influenza. No appointment is needed. The Red Cross accepts Medicare Part B, Railroad Medicare, Coventry, Humana Gold or Gold Plus and Advantra. Please bring your insurance card if you would like to have your insurance billed. If your insurance is different from the ones listed, you will be given a receipt and you may submit it to your insurance company for reimbursement. The flu shot can be given to adults 18 and over. Students 16 or 17 years of age may receive the flu shot if a doctor's order for the influenza vaccination AND a note is received from their parent or guardian.
The flu shot costs $25.
