Kick back and relax at the Garden on Thursday evenings this summer! The Garden is open til 9 p.m. on these special evenings: June 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; July 7,14, 21, 28; August 4, 11, 18, 25. New this year, the Garden's in-house caterer, Meriwether Godsey, offers themed wine-tastings, specialty beers, and the chance to sample great local fare.

The second Thursday of each month (June 9, July 14 and August 11) is also a Fidos After 5 night when leashed pets are allowed.

Flowers After 5 is rain or shine; in case of extreme inclement weather, activities will be moved inside.

Enjoy:
6 - 8:30 p.m.
Wine-tasting in the Rose Garden. Additional $10 wine ticket required. For those 21 years and older; ID required. Wine-tasting ticket allows three samples (inlcudes at least one white and one red.) Wine will also be sold by the glass and the bottle.

A selection of beers, including one specialty beer, will also be sold in the Rose Garden.

Food, such as sandwiches, salads and fruit and cheese plates, will be availalbe for purchase in the Rose Garden. Guests may eat "al fresco" at tables or on blankets provided by Meriwether Godsey (limited number of blankets available; first-come, first-served.)

In celebration of the summer growing season, guests may also enjoy a free sample of a featured food item each night. Local growers and vendors will be on hand showcasing fare such as fruits, honey, cheeses, tomatoes and gelato.

6 - 8 p.m.
Music and dancing in the Rose Garden. Enjoy a variety of entertainment from opera, to jazz, to bluegrass -- even tango and salsa dancing!

5 - 8 p.m.
Dining in the Tea House, offering seated dinners with views of the Garden and, in addition to the regular seasonal menu, a "date night" special.

5 - 7 p.m.
Browsing in the Garden Shop; offering an extensive collection of garden accents, books, gifts, toys and jewelry.
