Florida's Wild Places: Diane Pierce and Marjorie Shropshire February 2, 2011

Diane Pierce’s drawings and paintings portray many of Florida’s’ shorebirds and wading birds in their natural habitats. Artist Marjorie Shropshire depicts Florida’s wild places in terms of what may be lost and is no more. Combining painting and drawing with cases and boxes, Shropshire creates three-dimensional pieces reminiscent of collector’s cabinets.
