Florida Waterways Dance Project March 5, 2011

Dance students from Jacksonville University, Florida State College at Jacksonville, and Douglas Anderson School of the Arts will perform as part of the Florida Waterways Dance Project, a collaborative initiative which celebrates Arts in Education by uniting Florida's arts institutions in simultaneous site-specific dance performances inspired by Florida's unique waterways. From Miami to the Panhandle and from Tampa to Jacksonville, dancers, musicians and visual artists from twenty one participating school arts programs and dance companies will join together to bring attention to the power and fragility of Florida's waterways.
