Florida Keys Ocean Festival 2011 April 2, 2011

Please join us for the 25th Annual Run for the Turtles! This fun-filled event includes a 1-mile fun-run/walk as well as a 5k race sanctioned by the Manasota Track Club. Funds raised through this event support sea turtle research and conservation programs at Mote. Each May through October, Mote staff and volunteers patrol 35 miles of nesting beaches to monitor sea turtle nesting.
