Beginner Track - Enthusiasts, first-timers, non-programmers, webmasters, and marketing people, as well as anyone tasked with updating sites will benefit from these sessions to provide a practical overview of Drupal. Business and Social Media track

Social Media Club of Orlando is contributing heavily to this first ever Business and Social Media track for non-technical people, decision makers and those who need to get a better understanding of the current state of Social Media. Examples include Twitter, Facebook, FourSquare, Yelp, and several tools for monitoring and measuring your organization's success and the engagement of your community. You'll learn the basic principals, benefits and challenges in using popular social media tools, as well as how to tap into the Central Florida community.

Day 2: Site building sprint for a cause

2nd Annual "Coding for a Cause".
This year, we will be building a site for the 501(c)3 Central Florida Computer Society, which will be celebrating its 30th birthday next year. Our annual community selection process chose CFCS as the beneficiary of Coding for a Cause based on their active participation and support of the local Drupal community.

What is Drupal? - Drupal is an open source modular platform used to build everything from personal blogs to enterprise applications. Whitehouse.gov, Grammys.com, Popsci.com and hundreds of other businesses, government agencies and organization sites use Drupal because it is free, flexible, and is constantly being improved by the hundreds of thousands of dedicated developers that are part of the Drupal Community.

The Central Florida Computer Society (CFCS) is a charitable, scientific and educational organization formed to encourage interest in the operation and development of computers, in general, for the benefit of the members of the Society and the general public.

Incorporated in February of 1982, we endeavor to facilitate the free exchange of information among those with an interest in computer science in the Central Florida area and support and encourage the teaching of computer techniques.

This year, several great organizations have stepped up with tremendous support of Florida DrupalCamp. The Rollins College Philanthropy & Nonprofit Leadership Center has decided to co-host the event, providing venues on the scenic Rollins College Campus for sessions, activities and registration; helping with session selection; and conducting valuable outreach to local organizations. The Philanthropy Center is a program of Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business, that strengthens the impact, effectiveness and leadership of nonprofit and philanthropic organizations through education and management assistance.

The Central Florida Computer Society is again providing financial management and a bevy of volunteers for both days of Florida DrupalCamp. CFCS is a charitable, scientific and educational organization that supports the free exchange of information among those with an interest in computer science and encourages the teaching of computer techniques. This year's Platinum Sponsor is MindComet, a leading interactive marketing and software development company based in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Thanks to MindComet, and other sponsors, includingTrellon, BigCouch Media Group, Lullabot, Software Quality Engineering, and Veredus, ticket prices for this year's event are still just $10.
