Florida Blue Centers Offer Free Small Biz Tax Credit Seminars

WHAT: Helping small business owners start or continue to keep offering health insurance benefits to their employees, the Miami Florida Blue center and H & R Block tax professionals are hosting two FREE seminars to help employers understand and take advantage of a new federal tax credit created by health care reform law.

Businesses with less than 25 full-time employees who earn an average of $50,000 or less annually, and pay 50% of their employees’ health premiums, may qualify for a tax credit of up to 35% of the cost of their premiums.

Florida Blue representatives will also be available to consult with small business owners about their current plans and BCBSF’s available low-cost group options.
