Flobots, a Denver collective committed to positive social change and activism, is comprised of a pair of emcees, childhood friends Jonny 5 and Brer Rabbit, who joined forces with classically-trained violist and vocalist Mackenzie Gault, guitarist Andy Guerrero, bassist Jesse Walker and drummer Kenny Ortiz. Their sound explores and expands the frontiers of live hip-hop, taking their cues from such bands as Rage Against the Machine, The Roots and Outkast. They're currently on tour to support their newest album, 'The Circle in the Square,' which is due to be released in late August.
