Flintknapping Workshop November 6, 2010

Registration Deadline: 10/29/10. Join guest instructor, Tom Hahnenberg, in this hands-on workshop as he guides participants through the ageless process of flintknapping. Geared towards the novice or fist-time flintknapper, participants will learn how to transform a flake of flint into an arrowhead. One session will not make someone a skilled flintknapper, however, through demonstration and first hand personal experimentation, participants will take home a solid understanding of the materials and techniques required for crafting flint into tools as well as a flintknapping toolkit.
