Flight Night at Home March 28, 2012

HOME Restaurant, Greenwich Village's "farm to table" dining experience, will host Flight Night on Wednesday, March 28, 2012. HOME will be accepting dinner reservations during normal hours (5pm to 11pm).The theme for this flight night is Bordeaux style reds from the North Fork of Long Island. HOME will showcase three red Bordeaux style blends and one dessert wine. The dessert wine is from the Finger Lakes wine region of NY state and is made from Vidal Blanc, a French hybrid grape. Chef John Cordova has expertly created a dish to pair with each of the four wines. In keeping with HOME's "French done local" theme, Chef John has chosen to create French-style dishes but made with local and seasonal ingredients. The cost for the wine flight and 4-course pairing is $55/person. In addition to the pairing, guests may choose to do only the flight ($25/person) or only the food ($30/person).
