3/9 Update:Whoa, we reached our maximum attendence limit the other day. Feel free to 'watch' the event and we'll see what we can do (same w/ people with badges), but unfortunately, things will be a madhouse since we'll be at capacity (and we definitely don't want to get shut down by the fire marshall!)

showgazer, I think the big concern is capacity, but keep an eye out on this as we near SXSW, if we can, we'll strike the badge requirements or try to figure something out.

tackaberry, unfortunately, all the people on the 'Watching' list to the right are ahead of you.
You can put yourself on there, but to be perfectly honest, you probably won't get in. We'd love to have everyone who wants to attend to be able to, but the laws of physics are working against us here.
I do want to welcome you and some of the new users who've just recently joined. Be sure to add some metros and maybe watch some of the calendars of some interesting people in your area. We're working really hard to make the experience better and easier for new users, but if you poke around a bit, we think you'll find it worthwhile.

As of 7 pm there are definitely less than 100 people here, so there's room if you're still online. I know it's officially over, but things still seem to be hopping. Bring earplugs (just for hearing preservation - the band is good)

raines, unfortunately, we had to turn people away. i don't have an exact count, but I believe we went way over 400 (most of were upstairs/on the roof).
i think everyone that got in had a good time, so we may have to look at expanding next time (!)
