To celebrate the last day of British Summer Time (not that I noticed it was Summer), and before we have to use tripods after 4.00 pm, it seemed a nice idea for an Autumn walk through Greenwich.
We will meet at the Spanish Galleon pub (Shepherd Neame) at 12.00-1.00pm, leaving pub at 1pm.
How to get there: Nearest station is Cutty Sark (DLR), or a short walk from Greenwich mainline station (trains from Charing Cross or London Bridge), or the Thames Clipper stops nearby.
We'll begin the walk through Greenwich University, and then walk back along the Thames towards the Cutty Sark towards Deptfor Creek. Then through the Church of St Alfege, and into Greenwich Park - bring some monkey nuts if you want some squirrel shots. Views of the City from the Royal Observatory.
Leaving the park, walk by the National Maritime Museum (no tripods allowed), and head towards the Thames. End walk at the Cutty Sark pub, via the power station.
